TIDAL is currently being accused of faking song streams on Beyoncés and Kanye West's songs by a reputable norwegian financial paper and the largest university in Norway, NTNU who analyzed the data DN provided. TIDAL is threathening to sue NTNU.
TIDAL is a music streaming service that very likely pays their artists a portion of the subscriptions based on the amount of plays the artists recieved, meaning that Kanye and Beyoncé got more money than they were supposed to.
