spent the day asking my mentor to explain A and they kept understanding B :akko_aaa:

this task is literally IMPOSSIBLE without breaking API contracts galore

terminology nit: Analogue's products and the MiSTer are FPGA-based *emulators.*

the "it's not emulation" angle is dishonest Analogue Nt marketing, latching onto existing FUD from Nintendo and ultimately just poisoning the well.

(there are architectural differences in their implementation compared to that of purely-software emulators, of course, but they are not so different as to transcend the category altogether, just as low-level and high-level software emulators have substantially different design and implementation patterns)

@dmh work wants a build of libLLVM with the minimum components we need. Last time I tried it was doable with the LLVM_DYLIB_COMPONENTS variable, but it seems it doesn't cover transitive deps, so it fails at link time.

Is this possible to do?

@natalie what model is this card bun? (thinking if someone could make a sorta "copy" today)

I'm also still looking for a copy of SA21-9567, IBM 9348 Tape Unit Customer Information, so if anyone has a lead on that. I've already got a copy of SY31-0697, but I've looked what seems to be through the whole internet and I can't find SA21-9567.
