I mostly use chat applications as ways to transfer files between my phone and PC because I am lazy

@amic I have my own nextcloud instance but still doing this sometimes because I used to

@amic honestly what the heck are we doing, how is there no proper standard for local wireless file transfers beyond… Bluetooth I guess?

@noiob @amic airdrop (but apple only)

i guess wifi direct never *really* caught on huh? except for proprietary apps which implement it (like airdroid or shareit)

@noiob @amic honestly i just use like... cloud storage

upload to drive (or others can use nextcloud whatever) and then download on my other device

or if it's text, sometimes i just copy it in google keep

@amic I'm glad to see that i'm not the only lazy one doing this
